Lapis Lily- Believe you have to get this before defeating Moric in the Catacombs. Only source of DMG Soak 10 aside from the Bronze Shield, so it's essential to have if you want to master all the possible skills on everybody. Pickaxe Pendant- I would think you can pick this up any time before Chapter 2 ends, but I'm certain it's no longer offered in Chapter 3. So there we go! Go and look at the bookshelf in Deugan's house, which adds the entries for every Elemental Crystal (aside from the Ether crystal). I believe all of the places from this chapter are accessible in Chapters 2 and 3, and will appropriately get entries there.

* Since I've actually tried this, if you're enough of a mad(wo)man to grind up Mardek and Deugan's levels enough in Chapter 1 to be able to learn Insomnia, then go through 40/80 battles to master it for one/both. Also makes mastering Insomnia easier/faster in Chapters 2 and 3 *, with the Moonstone Ring and the second Cog Necklace allowing Insomnia to be learned by 2 characters at once in Chapter 2, and 3 in Chapter 3.
But you might as well take the less then ten minutes it will take to finish the side-quest, YALORT knows Chapter 1 is short enough as is. Serve no purpose after Chapter 1, but maybe a later chapter would have had them used to make some cool armor or something.Ĭog Necklace: Meraeador technically comes with one in Chapter 3. Mardek's can be grabbed as late as the chapter end screen. Probably best unequipped after mastering Huff-Puff, but make sure to grab Deugan's before entering Mardek's house at the end of the chapter at the latest. Can technically be unequipped at any time, probably leaving the boys naked. Tunic (x2): Equipped as Mardek's and Deugan's 'armor' in Chapter 1. Everything I've seen is scattered about comments and such on sites like Kongregate, and who wants to search through all of that for useful information?!!1! So, without further ado. Because I have yet to see a comprehensive source like on the vast interwebs.
